Welcome to Animal Crackers Pets, "The Bird Store and More". We are a family owned and operated full line pet store located in Sarasota, Florida. We specialize in exotic birds, offering hand raised babies, grooming, nutrition, wrought iron cages, bird toys, boarding and training consultation. We also carry a large selection of tropical fish, reptiles, small animals and a full line of supplies including hard to find exotic pet items.

Animal Crackers Pets was founded in 1986 with the goal of providing quality pets, pet products and personal expert service to the Sarasota/Bradenton area. We invite you to stop by our store to take a look around and interact with the animals and staff in our store. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is completely dedicated to the welfare of our "little friends" and happy to share their knowledge and expertise with you.

As all of us who own birds know they become part of our family very quickly, but there are so many levels of care required to own these magnificent animals. We here at Animal Crackers Pets continuously strive to make sure you have a happy & healthy bird by recommending proper food & toys. However, you must not forget to have your birds routinely groomed.  Here at Animal Crackers Pets we can do this for you. Allow our knowledgeable & experienced staff to take care of your bird's needs.

We also offer boarding for those times when you are unable to take your precious babies along on vacation, business trips or family emergency. We board all types of birds, reptiles and small animals (no dogs or cats).
